ITFOK 2017 (International Theatre Festival Of Kerala), scheduled to be held from 20 - 28 february 2017 is going for Street performances as its special highlight. It doesn't mean that indoor performances are unwelcome. A few number of contemporary theatre productions will also be included. The performative transformation of street places encourages greater interaction between artiste and the community there by creating multiple spaces of interaction. Edition 9 of ITFOK looks at street where theatre connects with and directly confront the pubic. Entries of cutting edge street theatre productions/street performances are invited with corresponding documents so as to reach Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi, the festival host on or before 30th December 2016. |
